Traveler Rigging

"I’ve had a few people ask about how I rigged my traveler…a picture is worth a 1000 words.

The brackets are carbon with nomex or foam core. The entire system is nearly friction free and cleats and uncleats from the wire with no effort...great for rounding the weather mark smoothly and with leech tension!"

1st Pic is the turning block under the tamp and attached to the main beam:


2nd Pic is the cleat for the traveler just behind the mast:


3rd Pic is the turning block under the tramp attached to the aft beam:


4th Pic is the floating block for the 2:1 under the tramp, the dead end is looped over the bracket for the traveler cleat (Pic 2):


5th Pic is the exit block behind the traveler. There is a Harken air-block sheeve mounted with the turning axis horizontal inside square housing behind the traveler:
